I'm playing in a 1-3 home game. The villain is a guy who loves to beat me and will sometimes play inferior hands to crack me. He starts the hand with a little over $200
I am in the cutoff, about 1000 deep the hijack limps in and I raise to $15 with KJ, the villain on the button calls and the limper calls.
-Pot $43 Flop is KT4 rainbow check, I bet $25, villain calls and limper folds
-Pot $93 Turn K KT4, 2 hearts now on board, I bet $65 and villain goes all in for an additional $120, whats my play?
This is in a casino 2-5 game the next day. The villain in this hand was a young extremely tight player. He moved to our table from another so I considered him at least a thinking player. He was at the table for a while and only turned over one hand which was KK. The table was extremely loose and very passive, everyone was limping and we even had a few times where all 10 players limped. I wasn't raising to pick up the limps too often because when you raised at this table, everyone would call.
I started this hand with about $600 and the villain had me covered. There were 3 limpers to me on the cutoff and I limped with KJ, villain on button limps and both blinds call.
-Pot $29 Flop is KK7, checked to me, I bet $20 villain calls and all fold
-Pot $69 Turn A KK7, I bet $50 and villain min raises me to $100, I ended up calling hoping he hit the Ace with AQ or something.
-Pot $269 River 2 AKK7, I check and villain makes it $275, whats my play?
