O8 win rates

My home casino spreads 20/40 and 40/80 o/8

Thinking of learning these games. Can anyone tell me some w/r over meaningful samples so I can determine if it's worth my while coming from NL?

What casino spreads 40 O8 on a regular basis?

What level of NL are you playing? Back in 2011 I used to go to Hollywood Park in the day to play there $40-$80 O8 game but realized that my winrate really didn't compare to the $5-$10 NL game. Because the game moves slow and it is split pot if you make .75-1 big bets an hour you are going to be one of the best. I think I was making like $65 bucks an hour at $40-$80 over a few hundred hours, before I called it quits. The variance was also much higher session to session. However I will play in the $100-$200 game at the WSOP and any other game that runs higher. Bart

Here's a related question Bart - How does, say, $5/5 PLO8 compare to regular $5/5 PLO against players that don't play PLO8? I figure there would be some terrible mistakes with guys going crazy with half the pot locked up. But weighed against the fact that the game has less hands per hour, plus many pots are chopped, is the win-rate significantly less, comparable, or possibly more? Thx.
