Bart HansonBart Hanson Posts: 6,111Administrator, LeadPro
This week Bart covers a few hands where he discussing playing against "weak 5-10 regs". This episode comes about because of a 5-10 session that was played at the Red Rock where the regs aren't particularly good and were bum hunting recreational players.

@Bart Thanks for the podcast this week. As opposed to shotgun pods, I like it when you cover fewer hands but in more detail.

hey @Bart, you said that when you bet larger when you’re allowed to (such as in the AA on K93 example at the ~23 min mark), Villains are meant to call down wider. Could you please elaborate on this? Did you mean to say defend wider than they actually are?

Yes. Defender wider means that they are supposed to call down wider.

That is why we are allowed to bet larger because they are supposed to be defending here with a 9+ probable pairs between 9s and Qs because of their backdoor straight draws. So betting larger on this board makes us extra value because of those hands that they are supposed to defend with.

Thats the theory, however, if opponents don't realize that say KT is one of the best hands they can have in a given situation and they are not defending that to the end then you lose value by blowing them off of their hand.
