New to Crush Live Poker?

why are my posts ignored ?

seems that during the past few months the topics i post have been ignored or nobody cares to comment. Kind of frustrating talking to yourself . I am wondering if it is a conspiracy against me by certain subscribers passing the word to ignore me. When my latest tournament question fell on deaf ears that convinced me that something is up Honestly i could care less but i do find it rude when nobody gives a crap about my opinions

I commented on your posts before and you got mad at me so I stopped looking at your posts.

I'll be frank. I am empathetic to your situation but you post a lot of negative commentary. So much you have been identified by your peers as a negative person. Thus no one replies. I don't say this to be mean in the least.

Privately I suggested what might be the issues. You need to see someone who can help with your anxiety. It might be environmental, biochemical, or neurological.

Listen to Dr Fuzzypup He is a clinical psycho analyst without a license to practice medicine but does have a license to play poker LOL

I actually have multiple degrees and a license to practice psychotherapy, no need to call me Dr. Cycle, but I have you on ignore for the reasons Fuzzy listed. I kinda feel bad about this, and I clicked onto this thread and your responses cuz I feel bad and wish I could do something. I really do wish you the best, but tbh, I don't see the value or utility of dealing with it on a poker forum. If I thought you wanted help and that I actually had something to offer, I'd give it a go, but I've never read anything from you to make me think this.

I wish I had something more constructive to say; I've typed out and deleted multiple attempts at this. I hope you find some level of happiness and/or balance, but idk how much I'm willing or able to walk with you on that journey at this time.

Funny you say that because i havent posted a negative comment about my frustrations at the table in quite some time. You know very little about me never met me yet you base your observation about me on a few random posts where i could have been just fucking with you guys from the get go. I could go under an entirely different screen name you wouldnt even know the difference , post a few hands and all the ignorers would come out of the woodwork and respond. You are such a joke its not even funny

You asked a question, got some genuine responses from people, but that’s not good enough for you? What did you expect when you asked why your posts were being ignored?

I was married and my wife was always wanting for us to go to counseling. We went once, I tried to do some of the suggested things. She said the only reason I was doing it was because that's what the counselor said. After we got divorced, she went to see a therapist. After one visit, she proclaimed he didn't know shit. The children have as little to no contact they can with her. She seems not ever to see her own faults.

100% not true in my case at least.

I don't care or know anything about sports
I don't care or know anything about bitcoin
Bankroll management doesn't capture my interest

These were your 3 topics. This one got my attention. And I do really feel for you. I know 2 people who suffer from anxiety and depression. They need medication to function in life and are brilliant people.

An imbalance in their biochemistry is catastrophic to their life. So if I see someone who seems like they are suffering from a similar symptom I approach them with empathy and suggestions then directness if the former doesn't convince them . This was directness.

I am bi-polar.. type II where I am generally depressed but my mother was type 1 (cycle hi and low) her father was type 1 my cousin probably was type 1 before he OD'd on cocaine. my niece is type II.. why you ask? because I had alot of trouble dealing with the pressures of poker and it made me very very depressed..

Finally found a medication that changed my life.. Lamictal is an anti-convulsive medication that just keeps my mood stable.. no matter how many bad beats...etc.. ONLY after accepting my diagnosis and getting the right treatment did I have the mental fortitude to crush poker.

In the time since I started only 25mg/day I have gone from a losing player to a player who wins over $50/hr.. I would say that is worth way more than the stupid stigma of being labeled "crazy"

right im talking to myself all the way to the bank!! lol.,.

OP, Sometimes I think you should be labeled a troll, but like still allowed to post whatever you want cause your posts are marginally entertaining.

@TheHammah - wish there was a pill I could take to remove my anxiety. I have a high level of neurosis but it's not enough to consider me anything. It's cost me $5500 this year so far.

there are plenty of anti anxiety meds. you just need to keep trying different ones til you find one that works.

When you first started posting I thought you were trolling and responded in kind. You’ve kept this up long enough that I’m starting to join the group that’s afraid you are serious.

The brilliance of poker is that there is just enough luck for losing players to convince themselves their losses are do to variance. Humans are intuitively bad at math and probability. The idea that an historic outcome was only one of many possible outcomes (as opposed to 100% chance of occurring) is diffficult to grasp. Even successful poker players have trouble with these concepts.

One of my favorite Limon 2+2 posts sort of thinks in type about how unusual it is to control our emotions ignore outcomes and only focus on decisions. Maybe we are the weird ones for denying the human fight or flight response.

If the posts you’ve made even remotely resemble your real life thought process you are drawing stone dead in poker. Any experienced poster is going to see that. Casino’s are littered with people who ruined their lives believing they could beat a game they never could. No one wants to play a part in pushing you down that path.
